- Fluffies were the nickname for the building cockroaches.
- K'zorx was a patch of sod kept in the Forum.
- Roth Pond was known for it's [[turtles], ducks, and muck.
- Several Forumites were named after small woodland creatures.
- One of Turtle's plants was named Tobie Two Kenobi after Tobie.
Fictional
- The Noga and the Polester bunny were the fictional animals drawn by Kerry Skadl as the supposed animal sources of Noga hides (nogahyde) and polyester.
- The Thing under the couch was a creature that supposedly lived under the couch
