Original Series
Name of the third Science Fiction convention of the 1970s run by the Forum, and retroactively the name of the first two. Per 1979-03-04, they were:
- Sunycon, unknown year
- MUDcon I, May 1977
- Brookcon III, October 1977
Next Generation
Also the name of "a student-run anime and pop culture convention held at Stony Brook University... filled with anime, art, panels, cosplay, and performances" started by Animated Perspectives with some participation by the Science Fiction Forum. This convention started in 2023 and continued in 2024.
This may be the only instance where a convention occurred in the same place decades after its sequel.
