Talk:The Gallun Award

At I-CON V in 1986, after Jack Williamson's speech--I believe he was GOH that year--I came on stage to present him with a lifetime achievement award. (It was memorable for the fact that in the middle of my presentation, he shuffled off the stage despite my best efforts to call him back, oblivious to the fact that he was being honored. The uproarious reaction of the audience still visits me in my dreams, on occasion.) I can't remember whether we actually called it the Gallun Award that year, though. -- Kevin Sterner
