General Meeting (05/02/2018)

Meeting Starts at 01:13 PM, on May 5th, 2018.

President Costanzo: Hi… Nothing really besides the exchange of power. This is now a dictatorship. (General laughter) Have a fun end of the semester and do well in finals.

Vice President Mirasol: Hello everyone. I wanted to let you know that the vice president is beginning to to organize his passion project for next semester. If you feel competent enough in a subject, please consider helping out forumites with classes you have already taken. Nothing is very concrete yet, but please keep this in mind for the future.

Aside from that, Public Relations wants to make it known that she will begin considering people for a committee to aid with advertising for the forum in general, and specially for future events. If you are interested in this, please talk to or otherwise contact Eva Scapaticci, our resident new P.R.

Treasurer Melnyk: The treasurer will start to make allocations for the summer.

Librarian(s) Yang and Chang: There is a Library.

Head A.C. Houck: Masquerade was amazing, but there is no way I am doing that much work on my own again. We need people to help out for the 50th anniversary. We’re going to need all the help we can get. 
	Also, for people who live nearby or on Long Island… stay posted. We may be holding small events that we don’t have to allocate for or otherwise just hang out throughout the summer.

Historian’s Report:
We have a large rock in the forum currently known as the GPA rock. Older forumites would know it better as Raplh’s rock. One night a most definitely drunken forumite found a rock. Somehow they were able to carry the rock into the forum at the time it seems like it was in Hendrix. After the Great forum fire it was abandoned in Hendrix until a few forumites retrieved it. They finally were able to move it to Central ( the SAC). The next move they carried it to Harriman with a full procession of forumites. Forumites then brought it to the union on a hand truck getting strange looks for carrying a rock around campus. The move to the SAC (current residence) forumites used a hand cart to wheel the rock over. The GPA rock drains GPA of those who stood near it, causing apathy, confusion, rage, and downright laziness. GPA but you have protection in the form of battlestar galactica chainmail. This was made from keychains they got from I-con due to an order error resulting in a great excess in keychains and forumites decided to weave it into a chainmail. It is a heavy chainmail even if its made out of keychains.
