Clubs are losing their rooms! SF4M and other clubs may be next.
On April 18th, multiple clubs (Animated Perspective/Smash Bros. at SBU, LGBTA) were given an immediate notice by Campus Life Centers that they must clear out of their club spaces by May 17th with no prior heads up or warning by administration. There were no warnings or prior discussions - it was an immediate and firm demand, and upon questioning, Campus Life Centers gave vague responses and no real answer as to why they were displacing these clubs. 
Campus Life Centers claims to be a "place where Seawolves engage and memories are made"; however, they are actively going against their own mission statement by displacing and evicting clubs that contribute to the small, yet vibrant campus life that Stony brook has to offer.
Please sign this petition to advocate for our clubs and organizations and show that students want us to stay right where we are. Any support is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for your time and effort.
