Meeting called to order at 6:55

President - Hi.  I hope everyone had a good break.  Welcome to the first Sci-Fi forum meeting of the semester.   I'm your president.  I want to make this short.  Welcome to AA.  Remember to use the garbage cans (obligatory reminder which will be repeated every week).

VP - I'm Russian, so my problem is genetic.  We have a heirarchy of uses for the tables, so stop covering the tables in laptops.  Studying -> other books -> food -> games -> electronics

Treasurer - I have money.  It will be spent.

Secretary - Pictures have been unearthed!  Keep them coming!

Librarian - I moved a stupid shelf and got rid of the useless printer.

Head AC - I'm organizing a Chrisitan Bale marathon.  Next week, we will be improving our zombie movie collection.

SACFL - I have secured Going Postal, Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and Rise of the Planet of the Apes.  Game tonight.

Historian - My house burned down.

Committees:

PR - Needs minions.

Fundraising - Good feelings caused the funds to levitate.

Authors - Not much going on.


New business:

AST 389 is the SF class that SBU offers.  Its books are being made reference.

Old business:

CLEAN twice.  JMaxx's vacuum has arrived.

The web site hasn't got a lot of activity, but it does have a wiki.

Allocations:

$60 for book cards

$13 for glow in the dark tape for the shelves (for seeing, not keeping together)

$90 for books

$230 for DVDs

$10 to CVS for mounting squares

$70 to newegg for a router

Announcements:

Don's game has been changed to Monday evenings from 8PM on.

Adam is doing a Call of Cthulhu campaign so ask about it.

Adam and Mitch are working on a game where the e-board plays themselves and the forumites DM it.

Sherman Raftenberg day is in two weeks.
