Meeting called to order at 8:00 PM

President’s Report: I have had a long week and the next one looks longer. If you give me needlessly bad news, I may eat you. The 40th, if you haven’t noticed, is THIS SUNDAY. So you should come, Forumites current and past… especially current. Older Forumites, I can’t yell at, but people who come here all the time, I can. In other news, I had my mandatory meeting with the club VP from USG. The bad news is that out budget application needs to be in by Monday. This was a surprise to all officers, I assure you. You should not be concerned, however as all officers are on the case and we see no reason why we shouldn’t have an application in by Monday, but if you see officers running around to-morrow, that’s why.

Vice President’s Report: Clean, dammit! … I like my games.

Treasurer’s Report: I will be going over what we need for the budget application. I’ll be going to USG to-morrow. We have some allocations going in to-night. All of our allocations for the 40th are now done.

Secretary’s Report: As you can see from the table, Orange and I went to BJ’s and picked up all of the stuff we still need for the 40th. Including two pineapples. They were totally necessary. The movie run for “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li” went well… with a grand total of TWO people in attendance. Fantastic.

Librarian’s Report (Ian): To shiftholders who are showing up, I’m sure the Librarian would thank you... to shiftholders who aren’t, kindly go fuck yourselves. The Librarian is soon going to be taking requests for books, so you should start adding books you want to the list. On a more personal note, there have been many people who have been helping with the 40th and I have been very appreciative of that, but Lukas was the first person who came up to me and asked what he could do to help. YOU SHOULD ALL LEARN FROM THIS.

Lukas (arrives later): I’m probably going to allocate within one to two weeks depending on how the list is shaping up. The Watchmen soundtrack was kinda weird… (Ian interjects): That’s an announcement.

AC’s Report (Phil): First… CLEAN! Also, next Thursday, Matt will bring in his 360 and there will be Nazi Zombies, Gears of War 2, maybe Soul Calibur, and maybe Halo Wars.

Sub AC for Life: I haven’t decided what we’re going to get for March’s movie yet.

Historian’s Report (Drow): The Historian isn’t here to-night, but she will be here for the 40th. (Ian): For those of you who don’t pre-date us being in Harriman, it may be hard for you to imagine us being anywhere else. But even in the time that we have been here, the room(s) have changed radically over a fairly short period of time. The Forum has always been in a relatively small, but constant state of change. So, for those who are worried that the club will disintegrate with the move… don’t be.

Committees
40th Anniversary: Thanks largely to Jackie’s efforts, we will have an awesome slideshow at the 40th. We’ll also be having Jim Frenkel, delicious (free) food, and possibly a special guest speaker (hint: he’s an author) via webcast. From 2:30 to 3:30 there will be a tour of our new club space. Donations are totally welcome, but the event itself is free.

Fundraising (Ian): So help me fundraising, you better start showing up!
Anthony: I think the vest consumed him.
Ian: If fundraising doesn’t show up we’re going to have to divert to Phil.
Johnny: Phil will start stripping and we’ll throw money at him to put his clothes back on.
Hoskie: … and that was the day the Forum made a million dollars.

PR (Jackie): COME TO THE 40th!

Julia: I would like to allocate $640.16 to Amazon.com, for a lot of DVDs including: “Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Death Race,” “Spawn: The Animated Series,” “Xena: The Complete Collection,” “Hercules: The Complete Collection,” “Red Dwarf: The Complete Series,” and other stuff. Seconded. Acclimated. Eleven in favour. One abstains.
