Meeting notes 4-23-2008

Silence!!!!
Meeting called to order at 7pm

President’s report: I’ve been away for a few days and this place has fallen to chaos. But I have returned.
We’re still not registered for Regatta, we need people to sign up.
Nominations next week, treasurer, secretary, and President are up.

Vice president: Who has swept recently? Ok that’s good, the rest of you fail.

Secretary: Next weeks meeting will be the last chance to make allocations; if you make them I need the itemized list at the meeting!!!!!!!!!! Or your allocations will not go through.

Treasurer: I’m going to get an itemized list of our allocations. Estimated at 200 or less.


Librarian:
Sam: Big props to Lukas, who did a bunch of library work not actually on his shift this week. Shift-holders do your work, use both the card and catalogue, when you check them out. The card does not leave with the books.

Roman replaces Aaron, with Neils as the CS guy.

Bookclub is on Tuesday, for World-War Z


CS: none

AC: We may or may not allocated for Ewok adventures, Gremlins, etc… lots ‘o cheering.
Ian had a lovely movie day today.
More in old and new business.

Congrats: all officers for locking the cabinent.

Drow: I completed my check all is accounted for, people still fail at the alphabet.

Historian: Check out the Display case, It is filled with important and notable things, also we don’t know why The Time Machine is special, just that is.

Committees:

Advertising: Aaron complained about our flyers, but there awesome.

Community service: not much

Fundraising: dances

Old Business:

REGATTA
Orange: Regatta is coming up I want your ideas. We are Starting our cardboard drive. Put the cardboard down in the forum by bender. Needs to be corrugated, and not nasty.
Em: suggests Trader Joes late at night, for their Cereal crates.
Kim: If you have a vehicle capable of transferring tubes 12ft, please tell me, so we can get them here.
Orange: we need ideas for ship design, other then the planet express, which is a current plan were thinking about.

New Business:
Orange: I would like to allocate $75 for food supplies for the end of the year.
Seconded by Kingbird. acclimated

Orange: The Picnic, will be Saturday, May 10th

Some commotion and silliness about Phil talking too much, motions passed.

Motion passed, not to make any more motions.
