Matt Screams: Silence!

Meeting called to order at 7:01pm

President’s report: ICON was this weekend, I’m pretty pleased, but will be rolled into old business.

VP: Lisa informed me she showed up Monday morning and found un-good stuff. Reminder: no drinking!

Treasurer: Arggh Identity theft, you can't appoint me without my presence!!!!

Magic-Bipod: Now with 100% less anti-Semitism

I apologize again for any offence taken at last week’s meeting notes.

Librarian:
Sam: for the love of God clean!!!! Especially after ICON. Next project is moving the reference section to next to the case by the tv.
Sam says only 10 year old or newer pulps be on the shelves.
TAKE THE CARDS OUT OF BOOKS AS YOU CHECK THEM OUT!!!!!

The W section was fucked to hell, this should have been noticed. So we are re-instating pet shelves for shift-holders. Responsibilities include dusting, cleaning, and shelf reading.

Kingbird: We have a stapler, i.e. We used our Staples allocation.

Orange on pulp order: Name, then year, then month!!!! “The” is not part of the title.

Sam: I reinstate shift-holders writing out the alphabet and submitting it signed. (must be English alphabet, in Roman letters)
Must also be dated, for permanent records.

CS: Roman- Do not give Wifi password to people we don’t know.
JC- I fixed last weeks problems.
Matt- Charter on the website is horribly out of date, and so is the officer’s list.
(changes will be made.)

AC: Alien quadrilogy came in. Thanks Kim.
-everyone hands over AV keys to Orange then to Drow.
Drow reads AC agreement: detailing the responsibilities of ACs and terms, including conditions on which the keys are held, all ACs must sign!

X-men day is the 30th, run by Ian
Pinky and the Brain by Howie on a Friday or Monday

Drow: All accounted for, and will get Night breed, and both Riddick films.

Historian: How does everyone feel after Icon. After Icon, there is usually a food run, it was all poorly organized this year, and should be run better.

Committees:

Community Service: Nursing home maybe. . .

Old Business:

Matt: Icon was this past weekend. Props to Howie for taking charge.

Matt motions to Censure Naruto from the Forum, seconded by Roman, acclimated.

Discussion, about how the forum was relatively unpopulated during the con.

Matt: We have a ton of bookmarks and Comics sent by DC, take some, and we will think of what to do with the rest.
Em: is sad no one told her about seeing bible black during the con.

Roman: What shift-holders went to the forum table at some time. * everyone was * Kudos is given.


New Business:
Ian: I motion to in honour of Matt as our president as our comics librarian, 500 dollars to Fourth World. Seconded by Heather. Acclaimated.

Kim: motions to allocate $200 for a gold statue of Digg ‘em the golden snaps frog. Roman seconds, on the condition that first they play Stratego. No-one acclimates.


Announcements:
Sam: The Brondienagean Bards will play at CW post, on Sunday at 12, and 3.

Sam: BSG totally awesome.

Roman: Doctor Who was also awesome.

Matt: Regatta is May 2nd 2008.

Orange: If anyone has plans for regatta, please tell me tomorrow, I’ll be around before 2:00.

Theme is now known to be Pirates - vs - Ninjas – vs - Robots.

We need ground crew, and boat crew, we need to know by Saturday!!!! For the sake of free t-shirts.
