Meeting Started at 8:08

President - Festivus tomorrow, ran into some problems, but food will be appearing. It'll be here around 12, 12:30ish

VP - Someone do a preliminary sweep before Festivus please! If the place is dirty I will halt festivus and make you all clean. CLEAN!!!!

Secretary - Nothing to report.

Treasurer - Nothing to report, except we didn't get the money in on time apparently... we're going to cancel the allocation, however that's old business. No more allocations. Will return next semester to battle with USG.

Librarian - We are done with the library FInally! yay! Will start work now on the lounge area of books.

CS guy - Drew backed up everything on the computer. Thank you anthony's mp3 player.

Shift Holders - anyone gonna be around? Make a post please, let us know. At the end of the semester, I ask that all shift holders please give us back your keys.

A/V - Festivus is tomorrow! At noon we will be showing things that will be genre, and what not. AFter 2 or 3pm, there will be feats of strength, possible wrestling will occur. Stick of grievances after 4pm. ^^ The nice man fred is giving us food yay! Pam is bringing dew. There will be a shooting line of nerf guns at somebody.

Historians report - The forums about 37 years old now. Due to tomorrow being the anniversary of a dear friend of the forum, we reported about the death of one of the forumites from years past, Kevin Donnely. Not many forumites have died in the past, There was another forumite who had passed away also named Kevin, he was killed by a tragic car accident. So everyone knows, after Kevin passed away, the darth vader phone was donated as a christmas gift from Kevin's parents to the forum. Remembrance was told about Kevin's first forum party he went to, and how after that night of drinking he swore off alcohol forever, however that lasted only a month. Another story involved where back in the day the forumites played MUDD, and Kevin would play all the time, and that he had it down where the pizza delivery guy would bring it to the couch, so that he wouldn't take time away from his game. He will always be missed.
There are a number of people who said that the forum have saved them. A lot of people stopped suicide because of the forum, which has an impact when you think about that. The rest of the story includes how he moved to Boston, and apparently boston is kryptonite for the forum. Forumites have said when he moved to Boston, that was his downfall. Word of advice, don't move to Boston, forumites never do well there. He was living there for awhile and came down for the 30th anniversary party of the forum, and then in december his roomates went away for a weekend and when they came back, they found he had passed away. There was a funeral thing that happened right after that due to the tragedy of the event. One thing to remember though, even in death you are always a forumite, and you will always be remembered.

Committee - Lisa - I missed festivus flyers, however if anyone would like to help make flyers, please see Lisa or post.

Volunteering - Ness - Last Sunday was a success! They invited us again, because they liked us. (they really don't know us very well). So plans forthcoming to show another movie. Suggestions are welcome!

Old Business - Cancelled the check for festivus , called and seconded by bonnie, izzy acclimated.

CLEAN. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, PLEASE CLEAN. *begs*

New Business - CLEAN. Utah is leaving, be sad. very sad.
