Meeting Notes for 9/6/05 YAY! ^_^

Meeting came to order at 8pm exactly.

President - Registration for the Forum is finally fixed, apparently SBU thought that two of our officers had graduated after a year of being here. The constitution was fixed to the schools liking. As for Activity Day (open house) we're pretty much as set as we can be as of now. For everyone, Please keep up with the cleaning. Also, Pres. needs schedules from people who are going to be shift holders.

VP - Special thank you's to everyone for cleaning up the forum, and very special thank you's to Onion, Bonnie and Anthony for helping to do the Forum Board! Special note to all members, please clean up your napkins. We have an overabundance lately of them, and they are becoming more of a mess than a help. Thank you ^_^ Lost and Found is going to be thrown out as of a week from this meeting. So if you lost something, FIND IT, or forever lose it in the vortex called the garbage can. Also, there are 3 SNES's. If they are yours, Claim it now please, as we don't need 3 to run one game. ^_^ Also, Involvement Fair on the 14th, Still needs help with Buttons. If you want to volunteer, Please see Lisa. ^_^

Treasurer - Will be buying more comic books off of amazon.com, due to it being WAY cheaper than other places. If anyone wants Orange to Order any comic books in particular, please see her, or reply here, or email her about your suggestions. ^_^

Secretary - I'm finishing up the forum roster, if you want to be added to it, Please email me, reply here, IM me at WarkyTheChocobo.

A/C - Thanks to all from Cory. We'll be ordering new paint to paint the Sf4m rock. ^_^ This week we will be sorting out tapes we have.

Comp Sci - The Beta of the forum website is up and running. Here's the URL - http://www.sf4m.org/phpnuke/index.php
Test it out please! send some feedback. The Forum computers will be using accounts to log in now. To have one made, see A comp sci person. Also, if you have an extra legit copy of Windows XP professional that you are not using, please email one of the CS guys. We need about 4 of them. ^_^

Scholorship fund - Donations, hat was passed around. we collected over 35$ so we are on our way! ^_^ Thoughts about opening up a savings account were discussed.

Community Service - AMANDA. ^^; We not only need Volunteers, but due to time restraints, We really need someone to take the position as Community leader, and get everyone involved. If you would like to either volunteer or run the community service area, See Drew please. ^_^

Historian - Victor recounted a story about the time when Hurricane Gloria was hitting Long Island, and the forumites decided to drive around, and find the eye of the storm during it. Small synopsis of this event, 9 forumites in a station wagon = not being pulled up by hurricane. They eventually did find the eye of the storm somewhere in patchogue. lol It was a very funny story. Moral of the story? next time bring 10 just to be sure.

Old Business - Thoughts about card making. Also, we need to check property control for more stuff for the forum.

New Business - working on getting new dvds for the forum. Welcome new forumites. Peter, and Christian the 4th. *golf claps*

Announcements - Magic the Gathering, let's set up a magic night. Remember to clean up the forums. Little by little, we can do it! We will beat the fluffies!!

Closed the meeting out at 8:50pm.
