Notes For 8/30/05

Meeting Came to order at 8:02pm.

Reports were made from each group.

President expressed deepest gratitude to everyone who came over the summer to help clean up the forum, and keep it neat. So a big thank you to you guys. For some reason the signature cards weren't in, so as of yet we're not actually registered. (yay SBU...) That will be fixed ASAP. Pres explained that since Open house is coming up on September 14th, we need to make sure to clean up the forum.

VP - Thanks once more to everyone for cleaning! You guys Rock! Lisa is working on new buttons that are in COLOR! to help aid in letting everyone know that we exist on Campus for all the new freshman.

Treasurer - Will be running to the office to make allocations for the forum.

Secretary - Working on a forum Roster. If you need to be on it, Either send me an email STNP@yahoo.com, or Come see me at the forum to give me your information. Thank you!

Library - Drew needs new shift holders for the semester. If you're interested please see Drew down in the forum. Please note that new shift holders will be approved by the committee. The main job all shift holders will have is to catalogue everything inside the Library.

AC - This Thursday will be rock painting night. We need to spruce up the old rock. Come one, come all, more details will be posted tomorrow. Also, we'll catalogue tapes given by Gary. Movie nights will be moving to Wednesday.

CS - Website is being worked on, but other than that, nothing to report. ^_^

Historian - Mark explained about the ancient Forum Gamer Wars, circa 1990. For more information, please see the forum Log book. ^_^

Announcements
The Involvement Fair is September 14th, 2005. This will also be the open house for the forum. Since this is the case, Lisa needs help making buttons to pass around Campus. If you would like to help Lisa, Please see her in the forum ASAP. ^_^

Amanda Short explained that it's a new semester, we need to help with community service for the forum, Amanda has valuable contacts that can help us out in doing some service. Details forthcoming.

Orange announced about Fundraising! She's been doing some research on the legalities of fundraising, possible ideas do include a Bake Sale!, as well as a forum auction for such things as goods and services.

Ferd gave us the warning that the fire safety inspectors would be coming around, and that if you see something that is a fire hazard to help clean it up, move the item, ask Someone where it goes. Be cosiderate please.

Old Business - Looking for spaces to move to. The last place we were thinking about inside the tunnel is a no go for many many reasons. (flooding, etc.)

New Business - CS guys are fixing up the computers. Should be done soon. Open house ideas were tossed around. If you have an open house idea, please see Drew to discuss plans.

Allocations - 150$ for Open House, second'd, acclimated. ^_^ 200$ for books, Second'd, Acclimated. 25$ to Walmart for crafts. Second'd, Acclimated. ^_^
