Coulter 23/05/1999 00:00:000 UTC A quick update of what is happening in my life. First, for those that care, both my old f*******r@t*****n.com and my new f*******r@m*****t.net address get to me. I don't care all that much which address you use. In the long term, assuming that nothing else changes, I will be dumping my old address for my new. But I need to wait for six to twelve months after my existing stock of business cards is exhausted before I dump, so both are good for the near term. I have two kids, Kathryn Victoria (age 5 but about to have a birthday) and Christina Marie (age 3). I am in the final stages of the last step into adulthood. I got married. I got kids. I am about to buy a home. Closing date is June 1, move in June 5 (there's an existing tenant we got to boot). This weekend has been a very bad weekend. Bad things do come in threes. The first (and worst) was hearing dog barks outside my bedroom at 2:30 in the morning on Saturday. I went out and scared two dogs away. I found one of my two cats lying on the ground not moving. When I came near, she looked at me but still did not move. I went inside, pulled on some clothes, got a cat carrier and went back to get her to the vet. When I moved her to the carrier, she hissed at me. When I got to the vet, she was DOA. Second, after getting billed $800 for maintenance on the car, I was told that it would be another $1,000 to fix the airconditioner. Third, my oldest daughter is sick. What did I do about the car? Well, the old car was a 1993 Honda Civic DX 3-door with 160,000 miles. Instead of paying to fix the airconditioner, I now have new car, a 1999 Honda Civic LX sedan with 30 miles. Moving up in the world. Next car (in another 5 to 6 years) will be an EX sedan. I have been collecting degrees and certifications since leaving Stony Brook. I have a B.S. in Computer Science, a B.B.A. in Accounting, and a Masters of Accountancy. I passed the CPA on the first time and am licensed in Florida. I am also a Certified Management Accountant, a Certified Internet Business Strategist (easy exam for anyone who cruises the net - see www.netboss.org for details), a Certified Novell Administrator (intraNetWare), and a Microsoft Office User Specialist (Excel 97 Expert). Other than that, life just moves on and on. Fred (Stony Brook from 1976 to 1990 off and on - never did graduate) Fredrik V.
