I don't know the author and I don't know the title. I'm not all together sure even WHEN the book was new. (80's? 90's? I don't know). All I *do* know is the plot of the thing: A man is sitting at his desk and he gets a heart attack. But instead of dying, he wakes up -- except he's now back in his body when he was 17 years old. He still remembers EVERYTHING about his previous life, he just went back in time. He gets to live his life all over again -- and does so. Until he reaches the date where he originally "died". And he goes back AGAIN. And again. And again. He places an ad in a national magazine / newspaper on one of his journeys back saying, "If you've ever heard of ET, Chappaquidick, Neil Armstrong, blah blah blah, write me". He discovers another woman who's ALSO going thru this. They get together and realize that tho they're going back in time with every "death" they not going as FAR back in time as they did. So, for instance, instead of the guy going back to his body as a 17 year old, he's now going back to when he was a 25 year old. The whole thing is in a contemporary setting. It's not "space invaders" and "aliens" or any other typical science fiction story. If you can shed some light on this, I'd love to find the book again. Can anybody help me with this??? -- LIFE IS LIKE A BAD MARGARITA WITH GOOD TEQUILA C-YA LATERZ TIM m*******n@***.com 19/02/1999 00:00:000 UTC Tim; Replay, by Ken Grimwood, is the book that you are referring to.
