The first official meeting of the Forum went quite swell.

the following things were talked about:

The Forum took pictures of a room around here that was

infested with elements of pure yuck, like dead cockroaches

and such. Jen spoke about sending it to The Press as part

of a "Find This Room" contest. Mainly, the picture will

be put up to show that there are really bad places around

the campus that should be cleaned up. The pic should piss

off President Kenny, too.

We're making progress in the negotiations to gain a much-

deserved storage room.

Next week, we will repaint the Rock before the meeting,

and we will have an Open House.

Our T&A Account is up to $151, according to the Treasurer

The Secretary was "glad to be here"

We voted to continue subscriptions to SF Age, F&SF, and

Asimov. We're looking into resubbing to Locus. We're

considering subscribing to Discovery (or did they say

Discover?), Skeptical Enquirer, Journal of Irreproducable

Results, and Wizard. We sent the card for GAMES magazine

to the Gaming Club.

It is time for people to sign up for Shiftholder positions!

Hurry before all slots are filled up!!!!!

We are allocating $60 for next week's Open House.

A lot of interest in movies for Movie Night has been generated.

In a separate message, I've listed the possible candidates.

Any movie that we don't get will be considered the following

week.

Aakin has denied all liability for the Forum computer mishaps.

We're in the process of working it out. Hopefully, we'll get it

working before the next meeting.

That's mostly all. A few new people came in, and the meeting

lasted about 28 minutes.
