Come to the picnic on July 12th at Sunken

Meadow State Park, field #4,

starting at 11:00 a.m. (We don't really know

when it will end-- figure

late). Bring any picnic toys you want (kites,

softball stuff, bbq

stuff, bathing suits) and friends.

A whole bunch of us just got back from the

movies tonight -- had a lot

of fun. Saw either MIB or Face/Off depending

on which one you hadn't

already seen. I personally thought they were

both very good. Woo

outdid the reast of the american stuff that he's

done and the scene

between Tommy Lee Jones and the dog rocked!

Weds. night next week (the 9th) we're going

to finish up the floor in

the forum. Not much left to do -- just some

really heavy stuff to move.

If anyone has a water cooler bottle - we want

to have a fundraiser where

we try to fill one up with pennies.

The Sci-Fi Channel donated a dump load of

books to the Forum recently

(along with a couple of t-shirts that were

given out at the following

meeting). We recieve regular review copies

of books from Random House,

Berkley, and occasional other smaller

presses.

Another club on campus (not science fiction or

regatta related) is

considering donating a substantial part of

there summer budget since

they aren't doing much and we've been very

active.

Oh, and thanks to Aakin for the floor design,

and Yvonne, Aakin, Adam,

Jack, Alexis, Eli, Ryan and Louise for there

help laying it down.
