IMPORTANT MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION Student Memberships: Student memberships are available for junior high, high school, and college students. If you purchase your student membership through the mail, you must include a photocopy of both sides of your valid, current student ID. If your junior high or high school does not issue ID's, we will accept a letter from your school's office on school stationery. SUNY Stony Brook Faculty/Staff Discount: If you are employed by SUNY at Stony Brook, you can get a membership to I-CON at the student rate. Fac/Staff discount is only available by mail and at the Polity Box Office. You must present your Fac/Staff ID at the Polity Box Office to get the discount there; or include a photocopy of the ID with your mail-in registration form. On Campus Membership Sales: Sometime in the Spring, memberships will be on sale at the Polity Box Office on campus. However, if you are not on campus regularly, the Polity Box Office is probably not the best place to buy your membership before the convention, as there is no free parking on campus for visitors The Box Office also sells tickets for other campus events, so sometimes the lines can be long. The Box Office only accepts cash. Store Membership Sales: As in previous years, we will also be selling memberships at some of your favorite comics and bookstores. Mail-in Memberships: PLEASE type or print all information clearly! If we can't read your application, you will be delayed at the door. Include a check or money order. We cannot accept cash through the mail, and we are not yet set up to handle credit cards. We MUST HAVE a name for EACH membership ordered. And there is a $25 charge for a bounced check. One Day Memberships: Are not available by mail. memberships Purchased at the Door: Must be paid for in cash. confirmation letters will be sent for advance purchases. If you have not received confirmation by March 10, 1995, please go to the Late Registration Desk. Pre-registration is encouraged. It will save you some money and a lot of time.
