2007-2009
At the urging of a few friends, one current student and two alumni, he entered the Forum for the first time on September 19, 2007. Known for his flinching (especially towards Lisa Pankowski's Nerf gun), hyperactivity, and over apologeticness, Lisa decided to take him as her pet freshman in 2007, to "help him grow a spine," or, as Ian Moss continued, "die trying." Efforts to give Phillip a spine have continued with intermediate success.
He learned to play Magic by a silly Roman Levant, who gave him his first deck. This has caused him to own many more decks and which some people have hated. Others just hating how more Magic was being played again.
He began shiftholding in the Library in the spring of 2008. He plans to continue doing so throughout the rest of his college career. He is considered to be a decent shift holder, but should still do more work and less Magic.
Medical Issues
Phillip was diagnosed with gallstones, bringing with them severe pain and the need for painkillers, such as Vicoden. This allowed him to be House for Halloween. The cane further came in handy, as the medicine rendered him dizzy and light-headed (read: stoned). However, the entire Forum present was extremely helpful, supportive, and comforting. His gallbladder was removed on January 16th, 2008.
Events Involved In
Roman sponsered a Venture Bros. marathon, using Phillip's DVDs and assistance. The event was a smashing success, turning many people, including Aaron Pellman-Isaacs, onto the show.
In 2007, Phillip, along with Anthony Cavalli, tied in the Festivus Feats of Strength with Darwin. Later that night, he became the official roadie for Cripplestripper, the Forum's Rock Band band.
Phillip helped staff the registration table of I-Con, starting with I-Con 27.
2009-Present
After academic suspension and reinstatement, Phillip attempted to resume his studies. However, with growing ennui, he lapsed back into old habits. He decided a change was in order, and now plans to switch majors from English to Computer Engineering.
