The twenty-first President of the Forum, Kevin served from 1987 to 1989. During this period the Forum was being rebuilt in Central Hall (now SAC) following the Great Fire which largely destroyed the Forum in the summer of 1986.

Graduated from Stony Brook with a bachelor's degree in astronomy. He is now manager of the Dreyfuss Planetarium at the Newark Museum in Newark, NJ.
As manager and astronomer of the Newark Museum's Dreyfuss Planetarium, Kevin Conod enjoys bringing the cosmos to the public under the starry sky of a planetarium dome. He earned a BS in astronomy from SUNY Stony Brook in 1989, and is a former president of Stony Brook's Science Fiction Forum. He was also on the executive committee of I-CON, reigning as "Gopher King" from 1985 to 1989. Kevin is on the Board of Directors of the Middle Atlantic Planetarium Socety, an associate member of the American Astronomical Society, secretary of the United Astronomy Clubs of N.J., vice president of the North Jersey Astronomical Group and writes a weekly astronomy column for the Star-Ledger, the largest newspaper in NJ.
